This will be very brief because, unfortunately, I can barely type right now. I've had tendonitis in my wrists for months now, but it's getting worse AND AT THE WRONG TIME. This coming month is going to be crazy! First, I'm moving, to a big garden apartment in the Castro. Second I'm shooting my first 16mm movie mid-month. Third, I'll be the cinematographer on a friend's movie. Fourth I'm taking a class. And of course there's the day job. So I don't expect to get time to write much this month, despite there being a lot to write about. And, in any case, even if I had time to write, I couldn't write because of my darned wrists!

But I will just tell you about the dog situation. I discovered this Sunday how much dogs like me. This cute female dog was tied up outside Baghad Cafe, and I stopped to pet it. It was very affectionate, but as soon as I left it, to stand aside, waiting for our table for brunch, it started to show major signs of withdrawal symptoms. The poor thing was just panting to be back in my arms, crying and whimpering, and staring with the most intense desire a doggy can muster. Everybody else who was standing waiting for their table was laughing, finding the whole thing most amusing. And I suddenly realized what it must be. It must be my hormone treatments. I'll have to see if they have this effect on other dogs. If they do, then I'll move on to men.

Anyway, that's about all my wrists can manage. I'll try to scribble a few sentences here and there over the next month.
